Benefits of Cacao

Cacao has been known for its health benefits since ancient times. More recently, studies have shown that cacao has vasodilator effects, which can help reduce blood pressure, as well as antioxydant effects that can prevent cellular ageing. Moreover, cacao also contains theobromine, an alkaloid that can boost your mood by stimulating your brain's production of substances like dopamin[1].
